Comprehensive Diagnostic Psychiatric Evaluation

When families are concerned about a loved one struggling at home or school it can feel overwhelming to know where to turn.  At Mariposa Psychiatric Center families meet with an expert for a comprehensive evaluation to examine the issues and clarify the diagnosis.  Having an accurate diagnosis is very helpful so that the treatment recommendations can be better tailored to the individual's needs.  A final note documenting the evaluation, assessment, findings, diagnosis, and recommendations is available for patient's to share with their primary care clinicians, therapists, and school IEP team.
